High-quality PC case

Evolv Shift 2 Air offers space for gaming graphics cards up to 2.9 cm high and 33.5 cm long. Thanks to its aluminum and mesh surface, the Mini-ITX case fits perfectly into any designer living room. Fresh, cool air can be drawn in through the case’s mesh covers, and the mesh itself is so tightly woven that it also acts as a dust filter.

The Mini-ITX motherboard is mounted parallel to the graphics card with the back panel facing up. The ports on the I/O panel as well as the graphics card are cleverly hidden under an easily removable cover, and this has the added benefit of hiding most of the cabling, which is then routed through the opening and into the back of the case. To facilitate installation, all panels are removable.

Cooling, storage and additional functions

The Evolv Shift 2 Air’s pre-installed 140mm fan pushes warm air through the back panel and out of the case, while front and roof air intakes also contribute to the overall excellent cooling of the case. A second fan can be installed at the back and another at the bottom of the case to further increase airflow.

A 3.5″ or 2.5″ SSD can be installed on the front using the included SSD bracket – and two more SSDs can be installed on the front using the optional SSD bracket at the expense of the 3.5″ slot, of course.

The I/O panel of the Mini-ITX case is located at the bottom of the case and offers two USB 3.0 ports for gaming peripherals or external USB hard drives and USB sticks. As we’ve come to expect from PHANTEKS, there are plenty of points throughout the case, including Velcro loops for cable management, as well as rubberized cable entries. The bottom and top of the case, as well as the air intakes on the aluminum covers on the back, all contain additional dust filters to help maintain the appearance and performance of the system.
