Characteristics of food for hamsters
Mini Hamster is a mixture of small granules with the addition of apple, currant and alfalfa intended for daily feeding of small species of hamsters (e.g. Campbell, Chinese, Djungarian, Roborowski) and other small species of rodents (e.g. mice: Barbary, spiny, pygmy and gerbils). The basic ingredient of the food are cereal granules obtained by extrusion, which increases the digestibility and assimilability of the nutrients contained in the cereals. Beetroot granules, rich in fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) and granulated grass contained in the food have a positive effect on digestion and intestinal bacterial flora. Special granules with the addition of chicken and crustaceans are a source of animal protein and chitin, essential in the diet of small rodents, which has a positive effect on the functioning of the digestive tract.
