The Store ‘n’ Go portable hard drive delivers excellent performance with its USB 3.0 „Super Speed” interface. USB 3.0 provides up to 10 times faster data transfer compared to USB 2.0 (based on USB bus speed), ensuring fast data transfer on the go.

• The Store n Go portable hard drive uses a powere USB 3.0 interface (1 x USB 3.0) and is compatible with any USB 2.0 port available on desktop and notebook computers. No additional power is required, just plug the drive in and start using it.

Disks with a capacity of up to 2 TB are formatted in FAT32, so they can work immediately in Windows and Mac OSx systems. Drives larger than 2TB are formatted in NTFS, which is compatible with Windows, but for Mac systems it requires reformatting the drive to HFS+ to make it fully compatible with Mac OSx operating systems. HFS+ formatting can be performed using the Verbatim VHD Formatter available on the drive.

For added security, Nero BackItUp Essentials software is provided to back up your laptop or desktop hard drive. With BackUp Essentials, you can back up all your files, folders and drives at any time, or schedule automatic backups at specific times for even greater security.

Verbatim Store ‘n’ Go Portable Hard Drives also feature Green Button energy-saving software. Green Button software suspends your hard drive when it is inactive, improving performance and saving energy.

There are 3 „sleep” options. Set sleep mode to activate after 10 minutes of use or in 10-minute increments up to a maximum of 120 minutes. Set the disk to suspend immediately by double-clicking the Green Button icon available on the desktop. You can also disable disk suspending by selecting „Never Suspend the disk”.
